Day 1 Beijing
Local tour escort will meet you at your Beijing hotel at about 9am. Then you will be tranferred to have outside sightseeing of the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), the National Theater and National Swimming Center (Water Cube). After lunch, move on to the Nationalities Park and Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall. After covering all the above-mentioned sites, transfer back to your Beijing hotel.
- Nationalities Park : also known as the Chinese Ethnic Culture Park, celebrates the ethnic cultures of China, with a focus on traditional architecture, music and dance.
- Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall: Sounds desperately boring, but this place has a lot to offer for kids. The biggest draw is a huge scale model of Beijing that spreads across the floor for more than 300 square meters of exquisite, light-up detail – Godzilla fantasies must be reined in. Bring a pair of binoculars and head to an upstairs floor so you can view the model from above. Also features interactive games for kids and a multitude of miniature models.
