Day 1 Shanghai
Mt.Putuo
A chauffeur will pick you up at Shanghai hotel/apartment and then drive you to Putuo. It takes around 4hours to get there. Meet the local guide and with his/her escort you will start your exploration of this beautiful place. First of all you will visit First of all you will visit Puji Temple, Zi Zhu Lin ( Purple Bamboo Forest ) and the Statue of Guan Yin. Then the local guide will help you check in a comfortable hotel and have a good rest.
- Puji Temple: It is a significant tourist attraction in Putuo area. Built in 916, it has gone through many destructions and re-constructions. Now it still enjoys high fame during both tourists and Buddhists.
- Zi Zhu Lin: A small hill nearby Putuo Temple, it was where the 20-meter statue of Guan Yin stands on. The rocks on the mountain are purple in color and many people plant purple bamboo on it, hence the name. On the hill there was a small monastery named Bu Ken Qu Guan Yin Yuan (Unwilling-to-go Guanyin Monastery). Its name comes from a ancient legend. A Japanese monk got a statue of Guanyin from Mt. Wutai, and wanted to take it to Japan. But he met a storm when he arrived at Zi Zhu Lin. He assumed that it was the hint that Guanyin wouldn’t like to go to Japan with him. After your breakfast in hotel, the tour guide will meet you at around 9am in your hotel lobby. This morning, you will visit Fayu Temple and West Heaven Scenic Zone.
- Fayu Temple : Originally built in 1580, it was a national key Buddhist temple designated by the State Council. The temple has a land area of 33,000 m2. It comprises of 294 halls and rooms, with a building area of 9,300 m2.

Day 3 Mt. Putuo

After your breakfast in hotel, the driver will pick you up in the hotel and drive you to Hangzhou.
Visit the West Lake (including cruising on the lake), Flower Harbor and Dragon Well Tea Plantation.

- West Lake : An old saying: “There is heaven above and Su-Hang below.” West Lake is the most beautiful and famous place in Hangzhou. Hangzhou’s fame is largely due to the picturesque West Lake . Lying in the west of the city and surrounded by hills on three sides, the West Lake is 3.2 kilometers from north to south and 2.8 kilometers from east to west with a circumference of 15 kilometers
- Flower Harbor: The Flower Harbor Park (Huagang Park) lies at the southern end of the Su Causeway, against the West Hill, and has an area of 20 hectares. In the park there are four sections, the Peony Yard, the Red Fish Pool, the Thick Forest Zone and the New Flower Harbor. In the Peony Yard there are more than 800 species of peony, the Red Fish Pool is full of flowers and plants, with fish playing in the water and breeze bringing petals every where, thus presenting a poetic scene of "flowers touching the fish and the fish kissing the flowers".

Before departing to Mt. Huangshan, you will visit Six Harmonies Pagoda and Hu Qing Yu Tang Museum. After lunch you will be transferred to Mt. Huang and overnight in Tunxi. If you are interested you may stroll along Tunxi Ancient Street.
- Six Harmonies Pagoda : Located on the Yuelun Hill besides Qiantang River in Hangzhou, Six Harmonies Pagoda was built by King of Wuyu to ward off Qiantang bore. As high as 59.89 meters, this grand pagoda has 7 sides and 8 stories. Looked down from the top, all Qiantang River beauty is bird viewed. Now near Six Harmonies Pagoda , a Garden of Chinese Ancient Pagodas with more than 100 pagodas and towers in various dynasties has been constructed to display Chinese pagoda culture.
- Hu Qing Yu Tang Museum: Hu Qing Yu Tang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicines.
