Day 1 Shanghai
The local guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at about 9 am. Tour begins after greetings. This one-day sightseeing includes French Park, Hongkou District , Monument for Jewish Refugees, Jiangnan Silk Museum and Duolun Road .After covering all the sites hereinbefore, the guide will transfer you back to the hotel.
- Hongkou District : The Ohel Rachel Synagogue marked the culminating achievement of Shanghai's First Wave of Jewish immigrants. It was built to accommodate the community of Baghdadi Jews. The other, the Ohel Moishe Synagogue located in Hong Kou district, hosts a museum dedicated to the history of the Jewish experience in Shanghai.
- Duolun Road : At the northern end of North Sichuan Road of Hongkou District , there is L-shaped small road- Duolun Road . Every corner of this street seems to be permeated with eternal flavor of ink and books. In 1920s and 1930s, a group of eminent writers and scholars, including Lu Xun , Mao Dun, Guo Moruo, Ye Shengtao, Qu Qiubai, Ding Ling, Rou Shi,Shen Junru, Shi Liang, Wang Zaoshi and Uchiyama Kanzo, were attracted to live here.
- Jiangnan Silk Museum : Silk industry has occupied great importance in China since thousands of years ago. Jiannan Silk Museum holds many elaborate silk products. Also you may see the procedure how silk is produced.
- French Park(Fuxing Park): the only well-protected Frence Park in China. It is also called “France Garden” by the locals. It is located at 2# Hengshan Road, Shanghai. Walking around this park, you may feel the typical flavor of France.
