Day 2 Shanghai
After your breakfast in hotel, the tour guide will meet you at around 9am. Your family tour starts from Shanghai Science & Technology Museum, gaining science technology knowledge and spirits. The next stop is Shanghai Ocean Aquarium . Get intimacy with marine lives, especially some rare species from Yangtze River.
Lunch in a decent restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit City God Temple and Shanghai Old Town.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower is a must-go for travelers to Shanghai. So this afternoon, the local guide will lead you to visit it and the Bund nearby.
After dinner you will attend a stunning acrobatic show in Shanghai Circus. We will reserve class-A seats for you.
Be driven back to your hotel after the performance.
- Shanghai Science & Technology Museum: With the theme of “Nature • Mankind • Technology”, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum serves for the purposes of education, research, leisure traveling, cooperation, communication, collection and production. It aims at providing visitors opportunities of gaining science technology knowledge and spirits. Shanghai Science & Technology Museum currently has opened 12 theme exhibition hall to the public. They are: Spectrum of Life, Earth Exploration, Cradle of Designers, Children's Science Land, Light of Wisdom, Home on Earth, Information Era, World of Robots, Light of Exploration, Human and Health, Space Navigation.
- City God Temple: The City God Temple of Shanghai is a temple in the old city of Shanghai, China, and is today the central feature of a large retail and entertainment district. It originated as the Jinshan God Temple, dedicated to the spirit of Jinshan, or "Gold Mountain", an island off the coast of Shanghai. It was converted into a City God Temple in 1403, during the Yongle era of the Ming dynasty.
- Shanghai Ocean Aquarium : Located just next to the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai's bustling financial district of Lujiazui, SOA is divided into 9 different thematic zones, with a collection of more than 450 species of aquatic animals from the five continents and four oceans. SOA is currently the only aquarium in the world to have a separate exhibition zone that showcases aquatic animals from China, particularly rare and precious species from the famous Yangtze River.
- The Bund : Also called the Zhongshan Road, it is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, winding a 1500 meters (less than one mile) length. Walking along the Bund, which is at the west shore of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the Jin Mao Tower.Being one of the Top Ten Shanghai Attractions, the Bund is a really beautiful and special place which is worth visiting. On the western side of Zhongyi Dongyi Road stand 52 buildings, showing various Chinese and foreign architectural styles, hence the name of “World Architecture Exposition in Modern Times”
- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Standing by the Huangpu River with a height of 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia (up to the last floor to see Shanghai scenery).It is a new landmark of Shanghai in 21st century.
