- Potala Palace : Potala Palace in downtown Lhasa is a 41-hectare complex which came under construction during Songtsan Gambos 7th-century reign. Consisting of White Palace and Red Palace, with nearly 10,000 rooms, it was where the Dalai Lamas lived and handled political affairs. Housed in this castle-like palace are a wealth of Buddhist statues, murals, religious scriptures, and treasures. As a precious legacy of Tibetan culture, the Potala Palace is a UNESCO-endorsed world cultural heritage site.
- Jokhang Temple : Jokhong Monastery, built in 647 as the earliest wood-masonry structure in Tibet, is dedicated to a statue of Sakyamuni. It is also in the possession of a collection of cultural relics dating back to the Tang, which include statues of Songtsan Gambo and Princess Wencheng. Tang architectural elements are palpable in this monastery, a splendid four-floor building facing west under a gilded rooftop.

- Drepung Monastery : Located at the foot of Mount Gephel, Drepung Monastery is one of the "great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. The other two are Ganden and Sera. Drepung is the largest of all Tibetan monasteries, and indeed at its peak was the largest monastery of any religion in the world. It was founded in 1416 by Jamyang Chojey, a direct disciple of Je Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelukpa school.

- Wuhouci Temple : was built in commemoration of Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of the ShuHan Dynasty. In the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, it was merged with the ChaoLie Temple in commemoration of LiuBi. The temple displays the suppleness of the Chinese garden. There are numerous historical relics like horizontal cribbed boards, couplets, inscribed tablets, penmanship, furnaces, Chinese tripods, etc. The SanJui (Three-Bests) horizontal inscribed board, Zhuge Liang’s Lung Gun couplets, Chu Si Biao and the tomb of LiuBi are themost famous one.
- Ancient Jinli Street: Strolling along a narrow lane, you will find many interesting shops and restaurants on both sides. Buy some local souvenira or get in a teahouse to taste a cup of tea. Get yourself relaxed in Ancient Jinli Street.
- Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding : The area is an outdoor breeding where pandas of all ages, as well as black neck cranes, white cranes, etc are bred. They enjoy the peaceful ecological environment tailor-made for them.

- Mt. Emei: Noted by the UN as one of the greatest legacies of ancient culture and natural landscape, Emei Mountain is situated 160 kilometers away from the southwest Chengdu. The mountain extends more than 200 kilometers and the epic reaches 3099 metres above the sea level.
- Monastery of Ten Thousand Years : Firstly built in 4th century, the Monastery of Ten Thousand Years (Wannian Temple) was ever destroyed for several times. The current one you see was built in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is the largest one of the eight monasteries on the Emei Mountain. There is a statue of the Bodhisattva stored in its Brick Hall. Day 12 Guilin
After breakfast begins your Guilin tour. Highlights: Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill , Elephant Trunk.
-Reed Flute Cave: Situated at the foot of Guangming Hill in northeastern Guiln, Reed Flute Cave got its name from the kind of reed growing immediately outside the cave entrance, which is used to make fine flutes. It has been a tourist attraction for more than 1,000 years. Inside the cave, there are various stalagmites, stone curtains, stone flowers and stone pillars, which constitute a unique charm, making it known as a palace of natural art.
- Fubo Hill : Rising from the ground, Fubo Hill slopes into the Li River in the east and looms in the west over the ground. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks thus it gets the name. It has a lot of places of interest, such as Kuishui Ting (Kui Stream Pavilion), Tingtao Pavilion (Listening to Waves), Banshan Ting (Half the Hill Pavilion), Huanzhu Cave (Returning the Pearl). Shijian Stone (Testing Sword), Qianfo Cave (Thousand-Buddha Cave) and Coral Cave.
- Elephant Trunk Hill: As the emblem of Guilin city, it lies at the meeting point of the Peach Blossom and Li Rivers, with Zi Sandbank to the east across the Li. Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangshan) is the badge of Guilin city, and was given its name because the hill looks exactly like an elephant drinking from the river with its trunk.
