Day 1 Yangzhou
- A local guide will pick you up at your Yangzhou hotel in the morning. Then you will be transferred to visit the must-see in Yangzhou, that is, the West Lake. Various kinds of flowers are in blossoms in spring, together with the picturesque lake.
Then after lunch in a decent restaurant, you will visit the Daming Temple, the most famous one of its kind in Yangzhou. April is the season for Qionghua (Wild Chinese Viburnum). Daming Temple is a fabulous place to appreciate Qionghua, besides regular sightseeing.
Your day trip ends in the afternoon when the local guide sees you off at your local hotel.
- Daming Temple: Located on a hill slope in the northwestern suburb of Yangzhou, Daming Temple is one of the oldest temples in the City，with a history of over 1,500 years．In the main hall sit three Buddhist images．According to Buddhist Sutra，he can deliver all living creatures from any suffering．Those in misery need only call him and he Will come to their rescue．
- Slender West Lake: Known as "Shou Xi Hu" in Chinese, it is one of Yang Zhou’s largest and most striking sights. The lake's layout gave rise to its name - it runs along both sides of a remarkably slender lake which snakes through the north part of the city.
