Located in Zhijin County of Bijie, the Zhijin Caves Scenic Area consists of the Zhijin Caves, the Zhijin old town, the Hongjiadu Lake, and the Luojiehe River Scenic Area. The Zhijin Caves are a series of underground caverns stretching nearly 6.6 kilometres. The widest cave is 175 metres wide with a height of 150 metres. The caves are divided into three levels with more than 47 different kinds of different, fascinating both tourists and scientists.
